‘Three weeks have passed, Govt is yet to produce probe report’
Srinagar: Reacting on the recent controversy on the appointment of Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti’s cousin Syed Aroot Madani as the executive officer in the Khadi Village industries board (KVIB), Former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Omar Abdullah on Sunday said that three weeks have passed and government is yet to produce the probe report.
“Three weeks ago chief minister assured youths that there would be an inquiry but we haven’t got any orders yet,” said Omar, as per KNS correspondent.
He adds, “We would like to know if Mehbooba Mufti is not being obeyed as chief minister or she is deliberately doing that by keeping youth in dilemma.”
However, on February 25, Aroot Madni who is the son of Sartaj Madni declined to accept the offer of appointment as Executive Officers from the Board.
