Farooq Shah arrives in Srinagar to coordinate measures with Div Com
After fresh snowfall begins in Kashmir, the Secretary Irrigation, PHE & Disaster Management Farooq Ahmed Shah on Friday arrived in Srinagar to take measures to ensure basic facilities to the people in snowy days.
Soon after the snowfall begins in the Valley, Governor Satya Pal Malik and Chief Secretary BVR Subrahmanyam directed Farooq Shah to reach Kashmir coordinate certain things with Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Baseer Ahmad Khan.
Sources told KNS that the Shah was directed to reach Kashmir in view of fresh snowfall. “Shah was also directed to coordinate relief measures, snow clearance, drainage, power supply and other restoration of services with Divisional Commissioner Kashmir,” sources said.
