Condemns custodial killing of Shahid Mir at Handwara
Srinagar: Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik on Thursday said that from 1st day, present ruling regime in Jammu Kashmir is conspiring to shatter the economic back bone of Kashmiris, by bulldozing the importance of economic hubs like Lal Chowk, Sher-I-Khas and Batamaloo. He said that shifting Bus stand from Batamaloo is part of this ugly conspiracy.

Shifting of important offices and institutions like Courts, heritage schools, bus stands and other important public places and institutions from Lal Chowk, Sher-I-Khas and Batamaloo like important places is part of a larger plan to destroy economy of Kashmiris and damage the historical importance of Srinagar especially Sher-I-Khas, Lal Chowk and Batamaloo.
JKLF chairman said that for every important city and place foot-fall is taken as of paramount importance and the way RSS backed present regime has enhanced efforts to diminish this foot-fall in our main city is actually a proof of its animosity towards the people of Jammu Kashmir.

Shifting of institutions like district courts from Lal Chowk and imposition of curfew and restrictions in Sher-I-Khas which has actually shattered the business and businessmen and now shifting of Bus stand and annihilating thousands of shopkeepers and businessmen is part of the conspiracy that is being practiced to inflict harm to Kashmiris, added JKLF chairman.
He said that Kashmiris are aware of these anti-people plots of so-called rulers and will resist these nefarious designs.
