Proud moment for BWJA for having few as its members: President BWJA
Baramulla, Aug 19: On World Photography Day, which is being celebrated worldwide today, north Kashmir has produced such multi-talented photojournalists who have brought laurels to this beautiful mountain clapped district by their passion for it are the members of BWJA.
On this World Photography Day (WPD), there are always two people in every picture that is the photographer and the viewer, and fortunately, few of them are the members of Baramulla Working Journalists (BWJA), said President BWJA, Gulzar Ahmad Zargar.
He said that we are not far from those photojournalists who have excelled themselves at an international level, and with proud we have Mr. Abid Nabi, Firdous Khan, Malik Nisar, Eeshan Peer and Peerzada Waseem.
These young photojournalists have made us proud by exploring their talent at an international level, said President.
He congratulated them with a hope and wish that they will catch every moment with their hardworking attitude and passion for their professional work.
Chairman BWJA, Mr. Karamat Qayoom said that it is really a proud moment for us that we have such photojournalists in our association.
These PJs have a broad vision of trust and understanding about their field as of having as their camera lenses who capture the big world and tough terrains through their expressions and knowledge about their subject, the chairman added.
Meanwhile, Vice president, Gen Secretary, Chief Spokesperson and other members congratulated their fellow members on WPD.
All the members of BWJA in one voice said that these PJs have made them proud by existing among the top rated photojournalists of the world.
BWJA also congratulated Inayat Baidar, a young and budding journalist, who has been conferred with an award on WPD at Jalandhar Punjab.
It is in place to mention that, Inayat is a son of prominent and eminent journalist of NRK, Mr. Karamat Qayoom.
