Expresses profound grief over loss of precious lives
The Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) President G.A. Mir has expressed profound grief over the loss of eleven precious lives after a vehicle they were travelling fell into deep gorge near Peer Ki Gali in Shopian District and conveyed deepest condolences to bereaved families.
In a statement issued to KNS, G.A. Mir expressed profound grief over the loss of eleven precious lives including nine girls, as reported, in a tragic accident near Peer Ki Gali, describing it as highly unfortunate and painful.
“Pained to hear about the loss of precious lives in a tragic road accident. My deepest condolences to the bereaved families. I pray for speedy recovery of injured people,” G.A. Mir said.
Mir said, “I am disappointed over the frequent incident of accidents, which have cost many precious lives in past and present also, emphasizing the Authorities dealing with vehicular movement to take effective measures to ensure safety of people while travelling in hilly and plain areas in the State.”
“I express my solidarity with the bereaved families and pray for eternal peace to departed soul,” G.A. Mir added and said his (Mir’s) heart goes out for those who lost their dear ones in this tragic accident and prayed for their courage to bear this irreparable loss.
