Hurriyat Conference (G) chairman Syed Ali Geelani has expressed shock on the demise of senior Jamaat-e-Islami leader and a well known social activist Gh. Nabi Faridabadi of Jammu.
Recalling association with him, Hurriyat (G) chairman said that he was a noble soul, an affectionate human being, a caring citizen, a religious and literary legend and an inspirational freedom lover.
In a statement issued to GNS, Geelani said: “Despite hostile environment and a non-Muslim dominated town of Jammu, he (Faridabadi) worked very hard and tirelessly to propagate the message and manifesto of Jamaat-e-Islami.”
“Fariabadi Sahab has two of his three sons martyred in the present freedom struggle,” he said.
Condoling and consoling his wife and son, Geelani prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul and courage to the bereaved family to bear this irritable loss.
