Taking cognizance of the story filed by this news agency, CEO Poonch has facilitated the students who were earlier ‘denied’ admission by a government-run school in Mendhar.
As many as 36 students out of 67, who passed their matriculate examinations from Government High School Pathanateer have been allowed to take admission for further studies at Government Higher Secondary School Chattral.
Chief Education Officer Poonch Vijay Kumar Bhagat directed his deputy to visit the school after the matter was earlier brought to his notice by this news agency. As many as thirty six students have been enrolled in the Higher Secondary soon after Deputy CEO assessed the matter.
Meanwhile, Principal Government Higher School Chattral refuted the claim that any admission was ‘denied’ to any student while alleging that some locals played politics over the issue.
“We will ensure that more and more admissions are provided to the aspiring students, he said while alleging that some people want to spoil the careers of students.”
