Armies of both India and Pakistan on Tuesday exchanged gunfires in Tanghdar sector of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
An official said that a heavy exchange of gun fires was going on.
As per Kashmir News Service (KNS) correspondent, the intense shelling caused scare among the border residents. People were seen moving to safer places amid the rising tension.
However, there were no immediate reports of any loss.
When last reports came in, the intermittent cross-border shelling was going on.
