Baramulla : Chief Justice, Jammu and Kashmir, Justice Badar Durrez Ahmed on Thursday inaugurated a conference hall at District Court Baramulla under the presence of Minister for law and justice Abdul Haq Khan, Justice Ali Mohammad Magrey administrative judge for district Baramulla, Deputy Commissioner Baramulla Dr Nasir Naqash, DIG North Kashmir Nitesh Kumar, SSP Baramulla Imtiyaz Hussain, President Bar Association Baramulla Advocate Abdul Salam Rather and other senior advocates.
Chief Justice also conducted inspection of Baramulla court and reviewed overall functioning. He impressed upon the concerned to further augment the existing judiciary infrastructure and desired timely completion of all the ongoing works at the courts.Later, at court complex Baramulla he was briefed about the working of the district court.
During his interaction with the Bar members the Chief Justice exhorted upon the lawyers to render all assistance to the Judges in dispensation of administration of justice. He assured them that their genuine demands would be looked into and redressed on merits. He directed the judicial officers to deliver quality judicial service to the litigants and dispose-off the matters expeditiously and come-up to the expectations of the general public.
Meanwhile talking with media Chief Justice of Jammu and Kashmir said that my first priority is to make district courts of Kashmir functional in a way so that we can be compared with best courts with the rest of India. He said that this is a era of technology and our focus is to run all courts with full facilities of technology, he however said with the help of NJDG application we will be able to check online the details of cases. While answering the question regarding justice for juvenile, he said that we are trying hard to help them out under the law.
