Srinagar: Paying tributes to slain militants, Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) on Wednesday said that the outfit’s ‘Bashir Lashkari squad’ has started taking revenge from Indian army.
The LeT spokesman Dr Abdullah Ghaznavi in a statement issued to news agency GNS said: “Chief LeT, Mehmood Shah has paid tribute to the LeT militants. Bashir Lashkari squad has started taking revenge from the Indian army.”
The spokesman quoting his chief said that “in the 8-hour fight, 5 soldiers were killed including one para-commando and 9 others were wounded”. “Militants successfully evacuated,”he said, adding: “India is very well aware of the skills and capabilities of militants. We seek help from Allah to carry on with our mission of fighting against the Indian forces.” (GNS)
